About the position: We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in Odoo integration and Python (scripting & API development). The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing our deployment pipelines and enhancing Odoo's interoperability with third-party systems, driving efficiency and innovation across our operations.

Key responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain deployment scripts, tools, automation, infrastructure management and documentation to support efficient DevOps workflows.
  • Implement best practices for version control, code review, and release management within a DevOps environment.
  • Develop and customize Odoo modules according to business requirements.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure software meets quality standards.
  • Configure, monitor, and optimize Odoo deployments on various platforms (on-premises, cloud).
  • Utilize Python for API integrations with third-party systems, enhancing Odoo functionality and interoperability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Odoo applications and infrastructure.
  • Stay updated on Odoo best practices, new features, and emerging technologies.

Requisitos

REQUIRED education, work experience, knowledge/skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as an Odoo Developer, with strong proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Solid understanding of Odoo framework.
  • Experience in customizing and extending Odoo modules.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and SQL queries and ORM concepts.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools is a plus.
  • Experience with API integrations using Python, enhancing Odoo functionality and interoperability with third-party systems.
DESIRABLE education, work experience, knowledge/skills:
· Power BI is highly desirable, dashboard generation, analytics and visualizations. · Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML. · C# knowledge.
